"Art from Portia" was born out of my passion for creativity, self-expression and the freedom art provides.

Whilst I’ve always admired art, it wasn’t until May 2024 that I decided to pick up some acrylic paints and try my hand at painting. 

I am particularly drawn to creating art with ambiguity, allowing the viewer to build their own story from my work. I don't restrict myself by style, but abstract painting enables viewers to have their own interpretations. I’m fascinated by how a single piece of art can evoke diverse interpretations and emotions. 

I mainly work with acrylics and oil paints but love to experiment and evolve my craft. This journey continues to be a liberating one!
